We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Lead QA to join our team in our Barcelona office. As the Lead QA, you’ll be instrumental in leading and growing a talented team of QA engineers, developing innovative testing strategies, and collaborating with various teams to ensure our product meets the highest standards.
What your position will look like:
- Build and lead a team of QA engineers, shaping the structure of the team and providing guidance and support in testing methodologies.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and UX designers, to ensure quality is integrated into the development process.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing data, feedback, and performance metrics to drive enhancements.
- Proactively contribute to the development and deployment of QA tools.
- Manage bug tracking systems and review reported bugs.
- Stay up to date on trends and best practices in quality assurance and provide training and guidance to team members on these topics
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a QA or similar
- At least 2 years of experience in leading and mentoring QA teams
- Proficiency in manual and automation testing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Previous experience in a SaaS company is a plus
- Professional proficiency in English
You will enjoy working within an internal team of 25 people, consisting of Tech, Product, and Data experts, directly surrounded by our Senior Leads and CTO.
Our stack is fully automated with push-to-deploy on both frontend and backend. We use Kubernetes and AWS, and our CI is self-hosted. Our methodology is based on agile principles, with weekly releases to production and staging to iterate, gather feedback, and drive progress.
