About the role:

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our Platform team. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of a web stack and how to develop it at scale. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring our infrastructure evolves with our needs, providing technical leadership, and challenging our applicative teams on their architecture proposals.

Your expertise in designing scalable solutions will be crucial in guiding the team towards efficient systems and implementation strategies. If you're ready to take on this multifaceted challenge, we'd love to hear from you.

This notably encompasses the following areas :

• Be the force of change to distribute our compute, databases, storage and make it work across the globe at lightning speed.
  
• Take part of our paradigmatic change to an event-driven backend.
• Challenge the tolerance of our system against system failures, propose and build tools against catastrophic events.

• Micro-frontend migration and its deployment
  
• Realtime analytics : from basic postgresql reporting, dashboards, alerting, to a tailored and modern datawarehouse.

As any leader from our tech team you are expected to :

• Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends, and drive the adoption of new tools and techniques within the team.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, offering constructive feedback to team members on implementations.
• Optimize code for enhanced performance and responsiveness at scale.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks and other optimization opportunities across the entire stack.

You would be great fit if you have:

• +5 years of experience as a Principal or Lead Engineer.
• Working experience with distributed databases and/or infrastructure at scale.
• Working experience with Python backend and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Have proficiency in English, French is a plus.
