About the role:
Joining our "Member experience" team means having a tremendous impact our the product that we offer to our client. As Senior Mobile Software Engineer, you will:
- Architect and build from scratch our new white-label customizable application enabling seamless member engagement across bsport services (The current version is currently deployed for 1000+ clients on the AppStore and PlayStore).
- Develop brand new features for our studios to offer to their members (gamification, in-app retails offering, barcode integrations ...)
- Ensure a seamless user experience and conversion from our desktop and mobile Website to the application.
What will be your impact:
1. Architect and design a Greenfield mobile application
- Implement your own adapted implementation of our design system Fabrique, built to be extremely customizable to adapt to our clients' brands.
- Create a scalable application that will implement class booking, pass and retail purchase currently present in the current application
- Evolve the application by adding new features (gamification, access control ...)
2. Deliver High-Quality Software
- Write robust, efficient, and maintainable code
- Implement best practices for code reviews, testing, and continuous integration & delivery
3. Mentor and Guide Your Team
- Provide technical leadership and share knowledge with less experienced engineers
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation
4. Collaborate Across Departments
- Work closely with our Customer Data Platform, Booking, Buyable teams to deploy and maintain cutting-edge solutions
- Align technical strategy with business goals, ensuring each release adds measurable value
5. Optimize Performance and Observability
- Continuously monitoring and improving the performance of your application, providing crucial insights our Customer Data Platform team
- Advocate for best practices in observability, monitoring, and alerting to ensure systems run at peak efficiency
6. Community of Practice
- Participate in our cross-team Frontend “squad,” providing innovative solutions and improvements to our stack (maintenance of Design Systems, observability scaling, Authentication revamp ...)
- Collaborate with various departments to standardize and evolve best practices for our platform and infrastructure
You would be great fit if you:
- Have substantial experience in React Native
- Are enthusiastic about recruiting and leading a team with diverse technical skills (Mobile, Web, Backend)
- Bring experience or enthusiasm for the B2C market
- Design clean, scalable software solutions
- Are proactive, results-oriented, and a strong problem-solver
- Enjoy collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders
