🗒️ About the Role:

Joining our "Customer Data Platform" team means playing a crucial role in shaping the success of our engineering department by providing a segmentation and communication platform to bsport client for them to interact with their members. Your team’s focus areas will include:

• Develop and enhance our B2C Segmentation System, by partnering with our Data team utilizing Databricks to ensure seamless data pipelines and real-time streaming capabilities
• Build and integrate Communication Channels (Twilio, SendGrid, Firebase, Fire Cloud Messaging…), currently sending millions of campaigns per month across 2,000+ clients
• Develop Internal CRM Features to improve lead conversion and client retention
• Implement AI Agents and Analytics Tools to help studio managers set up campaigns and workflows more easily

🎯 What will be your impact:

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will:

• Lead the design of microservices and event-driven architectures that handle high-volume data and ensure a balance between immediate product requirements, technical feasibility, and long-term scalability.
• Write robust, efficient, and maintainable code and implement best practices for code reviews, testing, and continuous integration & delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and share knowledge with less experienced engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation.
• Work closely with Data, Product, and DevOps teams to deploy and maintain cutting-edge solutions and align technical strategy with business goals, ensuring each release adds measurable value.
  
• Continuously monitoring and improving the performance of backend services using Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, and Sentry.
• Participate in our cross-team Backend & DevOps “squad”, providing innovative solutions and improvements to our stack (Grafana, Kibana, PostgreSQL, AWS, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Django, Django Rest Framework), advocating for best practices in observability, monitoring, and alerting to ensure systems run at peak efficiency.

• You have substantial experience in any current Object-Oriented backend language (familiarity with Python and Django is a plus)
• You have some experience implementing and working with Event-driven architectures (familiarity with Kafka and Flink are appreciated)
• You are professionally proficient in English
