About the role:
We are building a finance team that is both hands-on in operations and forward-looking in analysis. This hybrid role blends accounting support, financial controlling, and process improvement.
You will be the link between the accounting function (outsourced), the finance team, and the business teams - ensuring that financial information is reliable, timely, and actionable.
The role involves both running (producing accurate monthly closings, variance analysis, reconciliations) and building (designing Excel models, optimizing processes, implementing automation).

Your key missions:
1. Pre-accounting & monthly closings
- Manage pre-bookkeeping in Spendesk (invoice tracking, spend categorization, payment workflows)
- Collaborate with external accountants for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings (P&L review, accruals, reconciliations)
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data for management reporting
2. Financial controlling & analysis
- Build and maintain granular, dynamic financial models (revenue streams, people cost, Stripe fees, G&A budgets)
- Compare and reconcile predictive models with actuals to provide variance analysis and recommendations
- Support quarterly and annual reviews with consolidated data and insights
3. Process improvement & scalability
- Identify and implementefficiency gains in financial processes, from invoice approval flows to reporting automation
- Work closely with business teams to optimize resource allocation (e.g., contract reviews, budget monitoring)
- Bring a critical, constructive eye to workflows to support the company’s scaling phase
About you
You have an accounting or junior financial controlling background and want to grow into controlling, process improvement, and automation. You enjoy building models, analyzing numbers, and handling some production tasks.
You have:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and P&L knowledge
- Analytical mindset and curiosity to challenge numbers
- Experience with Spendesk or similar tools; interest in BI/automation tools
- Comfort in a fast-changing, scale-up environment (SaaS a plus)
- Fluency in French and English
